Screw-in cartridge valve

The cartridge valve technology of self-contained screw-in valves has had an enormous influence on the fluid power industry, particularly in the design and performance of manifolds. Large cumbersome surface mounted valves have given way to smaller and more compact cartridge valves.  Screw-in cartridge valves generally have a higher flow-to-weight ratio, are lower in cost and simpler to diagnose and replace.
