There are functions in almost all mobile machines which may endanger material and persons. In more and more types of applications (e.g. vehicle lifts, refuse trucks) there have been clearly defined product standards for some time. The employers’ liability insurance associations also often have new requirements towards the manufacturers of machines. For this reason there is an increasing demand for certified electronic assemblies for mobile machines. The Safety Controller can be used in applications up to safety category 3.

Functions and advantages

The Ethernet camera O2M has a fully sealed diecast zinc housing to the protection rating IP 69K. The two integrated M12 connectors provide all important connections for supply and communication. The device can be mounted directly onto the mobile vehicle via an adapter system. The modern CMOS sensor, the powerful controller and the integrated firmware are the basis for image capture and processing. So the user can set, for example, white adjustment and colour saturation individually, if necessary.
The digital capturing and transmission of the image data enable scaling and free positioning of the camera image. With a split screen representation, up to four camera images can be simultaneously displayed on the PDM360 dialogue monitor. The camera is fitted with an Ethernet interface for communication.

Functions and advantages

 In almost all mobile machines a powerful dialogue unit is needed for machine operation and showing system messages. The PDM360 compact is such a user interface. With its powerful 32-bit controller and flexible programming to IEC 61131-3 it can be used in almost all applications. Its robust IP 67 housing enables surface and panel mounting outside and in the cabin.
 Communication with the other system components in the machine is made via the CAN bus using the CANOpen protocol. The additional Ethernet and RS-232 interfaces as well as the optional inputs and outputs together form a platform for further networking and communication with other units.

Functions and advantages

For use as decentralised I /O modules, the robust metal compact modules can be used at any point of the vehicle. An extensive line of connection cables allow direct, easy and reliable connection of sensors and actuators. Networking of the CAN interface can also be carried out via the M12 connectors with ready-to-use drop cables.

Due to the high protection rating and the robust metal housing the modules can be installed in areas with dirt and splashing water.
