EN Plating Standard on Manifolds

21-Oct-2009 Electroless Nickel (EN) plating is standard on all Hyteco steel manifolds. Hyteco has installed an EN plant to satisfy the demand for quality protection.

EN Plating provides better corrosive resistance than Zinc Plating. EN also protects all internal galleries etc that zinc electroplating can not reach, Internal gallery protection is critical for some water-based and synthetic hydraulic fluids. EN plating is available up 60um for very harsh environments, subject to tolerance restrictions.
